Five Reasons To Love Nissan Titan

Completely redesigned for 2017, the Titan earned Truck Trend magazine’s Pickup Truck of the Year for its impressive performance, standard feature set, optional safety tech, and value for money.

It’s A Work Truck

Supportive seats and a quiet cabin make the Titan practical and comfortable for cruising the highway or the job site, and it can tow up to 9740 pounds. Three configurations are offered: a crew cab with 5.6-foot bed, extended cab with 6.6-foot bed, and single cab with 8.2-foot bed.

But being a work truck doesn’t mean you can’t have it all.  You’ll love Nissan’s Around View Monitor 360 virtual overhead camera display, heated and cooled front seats featuring Nissan’s exclusive “zero gravity” design, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a memory function for the steering wheel, driver’s seat and outside mirrors, 7-inch touchscreen navigation and entertainment display, LED low-beam headlights, Titan Box in-bed storage compartments, and integrated trailer brake controller.

The Best V-8 Engines

They’re a technical knock-out. Titan’s 5.6-liter, Endurance V8 gas engine combines brains and brawn. With a 4-valve-per-cylinder design and Nissan Direct Injection System and Variable Valve Event and Lift (VVEL), you’ve got the power you want with the efficiency you need.

PRO4X Off-Roading Trim

If you’re a fan of taking your truck through outdoor terrain at high speeds, the 2017 Titan PRO4X is worth a look. This four-wheel-drive trim includes durable cloth upholstery, tow hooks, skid plates, a sprayed bedliner, off-road Bilstein shocks, a lockable rear differential, and all-terrain tires. The PRO4X also packs on fancier features like bucket front seats, an eight-way power driver seat with adjustable lumbar support, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, full navigation, an expanded seven-inch touch-screen display with voice controls, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The Safest Safety Features

Most 2017 Titan models come with Trailer Sway Control, a feature that helps stop a trailer from tipping to one side, such as when riding a heavy curve. Hill Descent Control helps keep the Titan stopped for the first few seconds to give you time when starting up or down a hill, and PRO4X and higher models have a rearview backup camera and automatic wipers that detect moisture on the windshield.
